What are the sessions about?

XML in the time of AI
In this session, we will discuss how AI impacts technical documentation in general. Our perspective starts with the reader/consumer of the information - what is state of the art today and are user information relevant for AIs? We also discuss AI in the context of the tasks you do as an author - creating, updating and translating content.

Simonsoft 5.3 highlights
This is an overview of everything that is new in the latest release of Simonsoft.

From Techdoc-Book to Techdoc-DITA 2.0
This session takes a deep dive into the process of migrating content from Techdoc-Book into Techdoc-DITA 2.0. What are the conceptual differences and how does Simonsoft adress themes such as modularization of content.

Session with Simonsoft Support
In this session, we present our support function, our technical documentation resources and we will also discuss some support cases that we think are interesting. If you have any questions that you think we should adress in this session, please do not hesitate to send them ahead of time - or bring them up during the session!

EU Machinery Regulation
Interactive panel session about EU Machinery Regulation with participants from Simonsoft and our customers. Jonas Härdner from Simonsoft is our guide through different aspects of the machinery regulation.

Who should attend?

Simonsoft Summit 2026 is designed for Simonsoft users, customers, and partners who want to learn more about technical information management, discover new product capabilities, and exchange experiences with peers and the Simonsoft team.

To ensure a productive and interactive event, participation is limited to 40 attendees. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hotel and venue

This year's Summit will take place at Hotel Draken, offering stunning panoramic views of Gothenburg.

The hotel is centrally located at Järntorget and can easily be reached by public transport from both Gothenburg Central Station and Gothenburg Landvetter Airport.

We have arranged a special room rate for Summit attendees at Hotel Draken. Accommodation is booked and paid for individually by each participant.

Please note that the special rate is available until 21 August. As availability is limited, we recommend booking your accommodation as early as possible.

Participation fee

The participation fee is SEK 1,500 per person.

The fee includes access to the full conference programme, refreshments, lunch, networking activities, and the evening dinner.

Cancellation policy

Registration can be cancelled free of charge up to four weeks before the event.

If you are unable to attend, your registration may be transferred to a colleague within your organisation. Please notify us in advance of any such changes.

Registration deadline

Registration closes two weeks before the event, or when all available places have been filled.
